Como suele suceder, los mejores coches que hemos tenido son los que hemos encontrado y no los que buscábamos.
Este XJS es uno de ellos. Una propietaria hasta que lo compro a quien se lo compramos nosotros. Esto último lo compro para venderlo.
Tenia los neumaticos originales. Los P6000 grabados con el año de fabricación del coche y las siglas XK. Evidentemente eran los originales.
¡ y estaban en «perfecto» estado!!. Claro que los cambiamos, y conseguimos otros P6000. Guardamos los originales…
38.000 kms. una propietaria y toda la documentación original entregada en el concesionario. El libro sellado.
Como eran otros tiempos y al asunto de la Proteccción de Datos se le prestaba poca atención, tenemos el libro sellado con el nombre y drección de la propietaria ( sin que nadie se entere).
Mecanicamente esta en perfecto estado, como no podia ser de otra forma. Los interiores, mejor veís las fotografías.
Si, tiene algúnos pequeños desperfectos en la pintura, pero son esas cosas que facilmente pueden repararse. Lo que no puede es dejarse un coche con muchos kilómetros y no bien tratado en el estado de este.
Lo compramos en el año 2017 y por su puesto que no íbamos a venderlo. Despues de tantos años nos mereciamos guardar y disfrutar de algunos coches especiales. Y de momento, además, no demasiado caros. Como los XJS.
Hemos hecho algunos viajes de más de mil quinientos kms. cada uno y os aseguramos que siempre tenimos en la cabeza el próximo.
Ahora ha llegado el momento de venderlo, aunque tenemos que confesar, sin muchas ganas. Pero las circunstancias cambian…
Si te gustan los XJS, tanto como a nosotros, no pienses mucho en hacerte con uno, porque como sabes aparece en todas las listas de los clásicos que más van a subir en poco tiempo. Ademas como este te va a resultar prácticamente imposible.

Probably the newest Jaguar XJS for sale. It only has 48,000 kms. We bought it in 2017 with 38,000 kms. The original interiors are in PERFECT CONDITION He has the revision book with the corresponding revisions made. and all the documents that included the original green folder that was delivered to the purchase. We removed the original Pirelli P600 that was factory mounted when we bought it, which we kept, engraved with XK letters and manufactured in August 1988 and replaced the six shock absorbers. It clearly justifies the kms it had when we acquired it.
The car was manufactured in November 1988. We have assembled the same ones, but new ones, of course
It has some paint defects and small touches on the bumper. That is, it is not in perfect condition which is easy to fix, but sitting behind the wheel makes us have the feeling of being in front of an exceptional car. The connolly leather and the wool of the carpets are in perfect condition, and that in a restoration will never be the same. You can see the few kilometres because there is no clearance, noise or wear when you activate any control or see the transparency of all the indicators. Things that those of us who are looking for exceptional cars value. Driving an XJS in this state makes us understand what Americans say about this car. «An XJS doesn’t roll, it slides, it’s like moving on a magic carpet»
We have enjoyed this car since March 2017 and we never put it up for sale.
